SportsEngine Registration: Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association

2015 Girls Lacrosse Registration

Welcome

Welcome

Dear Girls’ Lacrosse Coaches and Athletic Directors,

The Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools Athletic Association (PAISAA) will once again be holding a Girls’ Lacrosse State Championship Tournament. We wanted to get the dates of the tournament and the particulars to you as soon as possible, with the hope that your team will be able to participate this year. You may choose to participate regardless of league affiliation or record. However, you must be a current full member of PAISAA. The tournament dates have been selected by the PAISAA executive committee and are as follows:

1st Round – before May 16th at Higher Seeded Team

Quarter Finals- May 18th at Higher Seeded Team

Semi-Finals – May 19th at Higher Seeded Team

Championship Game- May 21nd at a neutral site- TBD

*Rain Dates:  May 20th and May 22nd can be used as necessary

  • All playing dates need to be adhered to. However, the tournament committee will consider any requests to switch playing dates in the first two rounds, if both schools agree to the request.

Please indicate whether you are interested in participating in the tournament using this registration form by May 2nd.  Please download the Seeding Document below and upload during the registration form on the next page.  The seeding committee will announce the tournament pairings on Saturday May 9th, 2015. All game results through 5/8 will be considered for the bracket rankings.  This will also allow over a week to arrange referees and deal with any conflicts.

There will be a tournament fee of $50. Checks should be made payable to PAISAA, clearly marked “girls’ lacrosse paisaa”  and then mailed to Ginny Hofmann @ Germantown Academy 340 Morris Road Fort Washington, PA 19034. Each school will pay for one referee per game. The home team will supply the game balls and be responsible for the assignment of referees. The tournament fee covers 3 referees for the final, in addition to the trophies and game balls. It is required that the game clock be run by an adult for all playoff games. Any additional costs will be divided between the participating teams in the tournament.

Please refer to the two attachments to this letter for additional information from PAISAA: 1. Policies for participation.  2. Eligibility guidelines
